Accurate measurements are the foundation of successful online shopping. Here is how to measure yourself correctly.
Tools Needed: A flexible measuring tape, a mirror, and a helper if possible. Stand naturally, do not flex or suck in.
Chest: Measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping the tape horizontal.
Waist: Measure at the narrowest point of your torso, typically at the navel level.
Hip: Measure around the fullest part of your hips.
Inseam: Measure from the crotch to the ankle along the inner leg.
Shoulder: Measure across the back from shoulder tip to shoulder tip.
Sleeve: Measure from the shoulder tip to the wrist bone.
Neck: Measure around the base of the neck.
Head: Measure around the widest part of your head for hats.
Foot: Measure length from heel to longest toe, and width at the widest point.
Record all measurements in centimeters for consistency. Compare each measurement to the size chart on the product page. If you fall between sizes, check the fit description. For slim fits, size down. For relaxed fits, size up.
